cozumel, mexico
Arrival: 08:00 - Departure: 17:00
Cozumel is an island in the Caribbean Sea off the eastern coast of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula, opposite Playa del Carmen and close to the Yucatán Channel. The main town on the island is San Miguel de Cozumel. The island belongs to Cozumel Municipality in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. There are several beach clubs that offer snorkelling, and the main attractions are the offshore reefs and the many dive shops. Cozumel also has several Mayan archaeological sites. The most extensive remains are at San Gervasio, an inland site a few miles north of the Carretera Transversal highway. Another site is located near the village of El Cedral, inland from the Carretera Costera Sur highway. In Punta Sur Park, at the southern tip of the island, you’ll find the El Caracol temple, believed to have been used as a lighthouse by the Mayans.

Day 4
roatan, honduras
Arrival: 08:00 - Departure: 17:00
Roatán, the largest of Honduras’s Bay Islands, is a tropical escape known for turquoise waters, palm-lined beaches and the world’s second-largest barrier reef just offshore. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing beach holiday or an active adventure, the island offers a warm welcome and plenty of ways to enjoy the Caribbean. Explore the reef by snorkelling or scuba diving: colourful coral, tropical fish and sea turtles make the underwater world a highlight of any visit. On land, you can stroll along West Bay Beach, take a boat trip to quieter coves or visit the island’s villages to experience local life and sample Honduran seafood. Roatán is also a great place to slow down. Spend the day in a hammock, watch the sunset over the water and try local dishes such as fresh fish with coconut rice and beans. English is widely spoken alongside Spanish and the local island dialect, making it easy for visitors to connect with residents. For a comfortable trip, bring reef-safe sunscreen, light clothing and shoes suitable for uneven paths. The dry season, generally from February to June, is popular for sunny beach days, while the island’s warm climate makes it inviting throughout the year. Book popular excursions ahead of time and leave room in your plans for a little island spontaneity.

Near Belmopan you’ll also find Guanacaste National Park, a tropical forest with a vast array of wild flora and fauna, especially the many tropical birds that live where Roaring Creek flows into the larger Belize River.
