Departure: 16:00
Tampa, Florida’s third-largest city, sits on the north shore of Tampa Bay. The wider bay area has plenty of visitor attractions, but the standouts within the city are the revitalised historic district of Ybor City and a handful of downtown museums. The city centre offers lots to do, with easy access to the St. Pete Times Forum, a trolley link to Ybor City, the Tampa History Museum, Channelside shopping and entertainment district, and the University of Tampa. Tampa also has several good museums and the world‑class Florida Aquarium. It’s home to the Busch Gardens theme park and the Seminole gambling casino. Those interested in history and architecture should make time for the Ybor City and Hyde Park neighbourhoods. Day 4
belize city, belize
Arrival: 08:00 - Departure: 17:00
Belize is a country on the eastern coast of Central America. This country has a lot to offer, from the lush jungles with exotic plants and animals inland to the white-sand beaches of its islands. Relaxation, outdoor adventure, diving, culture – you can fit it all into a week. Belize is renowned for its Mayan heritage, with some of the best-excavated Mayan temples and cities in Central America. Actun Tunichil Muknal is a Mayan sacrificial burial site near Belmopan, the country’s capital. The site lies entirely within a cave system. Once a sacred place for the Maya, it contains many examples of pottery, ceramics and stoneware, as well as several sets of human sacrificial remains. Near Belmopan you’ll also find Guanacaste National Park, a tropical forest with a vast array of wild flora and fauna, especially the many tropical birds that live where Roaring Creek flows into the larger Belize River. Belize is an excellent destination if you want to escape hectic city life and lose yourself in unspoilt nature. In Belize, time moves more slowly – just soak up its forests and beaches and enjoy the simple life.

Day 5
roatan, honduras
Arrival: 08:00 - Departure: 17:00
Roatán, the largest of Honduras’s Bay Islands, is a tropical escape known for turquoise waters, palm-lined beaches and the world’s second-largest barrier reef just offshore. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing beach holiday or an active adventure, the island offers a warm welcome and plenty of ways to enjoy the Caribbean. Explore the reef by snorkelling or scuba diving: colourful coral, tropical fish and sea turtles make the underwater world a highlight of any visit. On land, you can stroll along West Bay Beach, take a boat trip to quieter coves or visit the island’s villages to experience local life and sample Honduran seafood. Roatán is also a great place to slow down. Spend the day in a hammock, watch the sunset over the water and try local dishes such as fresh fish with coconut rice and beans. English is widely spoken alongside Spanish and the local island dialect, making it easy for visitors to connect with residents. For a comfortable trip, bring reef-safe sunscreen, light clothing and shoes suitable for uneven paths. The dry season, generally from February to June, is popular for sunny beach days, while the island’s warm climate makes it inviting throughout the year. Book popular excursions ahead of time and leave room in your plans for a little island spontaneity.
